When I was a young girl my grandmother taught me how to sew and when I got older I bought my own sewing machine to work on little projects. The joy of creating a garment from scratch has faded over the years, but I’m happy that it’s come back somewhat in the form of clothing alterations and creations as well as jewelry making. However, I reached a little glitch in my creativity plans: A few years ago I sold the sewing machine I bought to earn a little extra money and I’ve done whatever I needed to do by hand. Recently the need for a machine presented itself and when I was cleaning out my storage unit I discovered the new one my grandmother had bought before she died.

I brought it into the house, but I haven’t tested it out yet because I don’t have an extra table or spot to sit it on. I think I would just need a small table and since I don’t do any major sewing I wouldn’t need much room.
