Double your coupons. Take advantage of the traditional sales many grocery stores offer, as these sales often include the opportunity to double your coupons. How does coupon doubling work? Simple: if you have a coupon for $1 off a bag of cat food, that coupon will amount to $2 off at the register. If you shop for products and hand $18 worth of coupons over to the cashier, you’ll suddenly have saved $36!
Use manufacturer coupons & store coupons together. Many stores, including major retailers, are printing out their own store-specific coupons for you to use. A friend of mine recently asked me that. You see, I bug him every week for the Sunday paper his place of employment gets. Or more specifically, the circulars, special flyers and coupon pamphlets that are in the Sunday paper. I then turn and use those coupons for my own shopping trips, and pass on the coupons that I don’t want or need to my mom.
