Author: Kristy Pruitt
Website: http:

In the summer, iced tea is one of the most popular refreshments around. Hot tea is also a favorite of many. It goes great with breakfast, and it’s also splendid to drink in the afternoon while conversing with friends and family.
American Tea Room has an astounding variety of teas to choose from. I’m a tea lover myself, but I had no idea there were so many different types and blends of tea until I browsed their site! Black tea happens to be my favorite, and they have dozens of different types and blends of it. Green tea fans can also find a variety of green teas to choose from. And they carry a number of rare, high-quality white teas as well.
You can also purchase all the tea accessories you could possibly need, including fine pots, cups, infusers and more. They even have gourmet goodies to go with your tea, and candles to provide the perfect atmosphere for teatime.
Now is a great time to stock up on tea, because American Tea Room is having a Memorial Day sale. Use American Tea…

Better bedding
Author: Petula Wright
Website: http://www.superamazingsavings.com/2010/05/29/better-bedding…
The bedding on my bed is just fine except for the fact that I’m tired of washing the same two sets of sheets. There are my favorite red ones and the rose colored ones that I only keep because I haven’t bought anything else. I often see sheet sets on sale, but it’s usually for the twin, full or queen sizes and not king sized. I have a pillow top, king-sized mattress and I am resistant to spending a lot of money on the bedding. There is always so much to do (and it all costs money) that I want to find the best deal possible.
When I started doing a little online browsing for bedding I found an all-seasons over-sized white down comforter at JustDownComforters.com. It comes in any size and sells for just $49.99. It would be perfect for me and my bed. I clicked over to Anna’s Linens and found a king-sized bed in a bag for $49.99 also. I think that an entire bed’s bedding for $100 isn’t bad.
What do you think?
Once I get the bedding together then I can search around for the perfect…

Organizing deals
Author: Petula Wright
Website: http://www.superamazingsavings.com/2010/05/28/organizing-dea…
One of the things that keep individuals from being productive in their homes whether it’s a hobby, a home business or housework is the lack of organization. Disorganization can be overwhelming and distracting. I, for one, am always trying to keep my home organized and it’s an ongoing battle. It seems that the more I try to get rid of stuff, the more stuff shows up. With six people in a small home I guess that’s to be expected.
What I need is a good organizational plan. … And some good organizational gear.
That’s why I need to take advantage of the Stacks and Stacks deals. They have more than 1,600 items for $25 or less, free shipping on more than 15,000 products and fabulous deals all around. With 13 categories – including home decor, bath, bedroom, closet and furniture – there is a solution for whatever room needs a little organization. I like the fact that shoppers can browse per room as well as do a keyword search for whatever they’re looking for.
There’s even a way to get a…

Birthdays and limits
Author: Petula Wright
Website: http://www.superamazingsavings.com/2010/05/26/birthdays-and-…
What do you get a child for their birthday when they are on restriction? My children recently lost all of their toy privileges. I know it sounds rough, but if you knew the entire story you probably wouldn’t have any sympathy for them. Today is my youngest child’s birthday – she is 3 – and with the ban on toys she isn’t getting any. Now one would think that since it’s her birthday the ban should be lifted; however, she is too young to understand that it’s lifted for a special day and she’ll have to relinquish the toys until they’re really earned. I don’t want to experience a 3-year-old fit today.
So, here are alternatives:
- Definitely cake. Chocolate.com has some of the yummiest cakes I’ve ever seen. I would enjoy them more than my 3 year old.
- An interactive book. I bought a copy of “Curious George Discovery Day.” I figured she would enjoy it because she likes watching the cartoon and there are things to discover with George. There’s a Books-A-Million deal on several books and they…

Organize Your Kitchen in Style
Author: Kristy Pruitt

If you love to cook, you probably have lots and lots of stuff in your kitchen. Pots, pans, kitchen gadgets, utensils and dishes may be seem to be flowing out of your cabinets. Perhaps it seems like your kitchen is bursting at the seams.
You may have considered remodeling to add more storage space to your kitchen. That’s not a bad idea, but it is pretty costly. A less expensive solution would be to better organize the space you have. This can be accomplished with compact yet functional kitchen furniture.
Baker’s racks are great for adding more storage to your kitchen, and they come in lots of attractive styles to match any decor. The one pictured above works very well for storing wine and wine glasses, as well as lots of other items. It also doubles as a buffet server or extra counter space. Visit our BakersRacks.com deals page for money-saving coupon codes, and then visit BakersRacks.com to see that one and many more.
Another versatile furniture item for your kitchen is the…

Refuel on vacation
Author: Petula Wright
Website: http://www.superamazingsavings.com/2010/05/21/refuel-on-vaca…
I just finished reading an entry on one of my friend’s blog and she asked her readers what they do to refuel. I actually couldn’t think of an answer. It’s probably because I’m running on E. My fuel tank is low and I can’t find a gas station to refuel. Normally I would decide to read a book or spend a day on the couch. I may paint my nails or give myself a pedicure. Take some extra time shaping my eyebrows or doing something else that’s as equally beautifying and relaxing.
That’s not going to work this time. I think a trip out of the state – make that the country – is in order. And the Grand Pineapple, which is an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, seems like an affordable option. The Grand Pineapple is a beach resort in Jamaica and Antigua. I’ve been to Jamaica several times so I’ve been peeking at the Antigua pictures and they are absolutely gorgeous.
Right now they’re having deals where travelers can get up to 60 percent off on and the deal is good until December 2011. Can…

All for the love…
Author: Petula Wright
Website: http://www.superamazingsavings.com/2010/05/20/all-for-the-lo…
Probably one of the hardest things to do in life is be in a relationship. (You didn’t see that coming, did you?) Think about it. Regardless of what type of relationship it is (marital, dating, siblings, parental…) there’s a certain degree of difficulty work involved. Besides learning from our familial relationships from the time we’re born, what else can we do to “assist” in our relationship success?
A lot of people read self-help books or magazines to help them with their relationships. There’s a McKenzie Books coupon for 5 percent off an order (gotta hurry and use this one because it expires at the end of this month). They have some interesting books under their romance category. Magazines.com has a coupon for $5 off any order and they have quite a few women and men’s magazines that have great articles on relationships.
After learning a little about strengthening relationships through reading it’s time to put what you’ve learned into action. That, for some, may mean taking some…

Canopies for Shade and Shelter
Author: Kristy Pruitt
Website: http:

Summer is a wonderful season for doing all sorts of stuff outdoors. But as much as we may love the sunshine, sometimes we need a little shade. And then there are those showers and thunderstorms that come out of nowhere and catch us off guard.
No matter what the weather, it’s good to have somewhere to take cover while still being able to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. Pop-up canopies are the perfect solution. You can leave them set up in your back yard, or you can stow them away and only bring them out as needed. They’re perfect for use when camping, going to the beach, or having parties.
Canopy Center has just about any type and size of canopy you can imagine. They’ve got small canopies made for lounging on the beach, gazebo canopies with insect guards that are perfect for the yard, and large canopies with enclosures that are ideal for use during parties. They even carry those handy pop-up carports in several sizes and price ranges.
If you’re thinking about purchasing a canopy,…
